U.S. inflation in August PCE fell short of expectations, BTC once rose to $85,500

CoinMeta data: According to CoinDesk, inflation in the United States in August PCE was lower than expected, which briefly pushed BTC up to around $85,500, but subsequent gains were largely reversed, and by early trading in Asia, it fell back to around $83,700. Data shows that the yield on 10-year U.S. Treasury bonds remains at around 5.28%, while the yield on 30-year bonds is around 5.62%, near its highest level since 2002. LVRG Research analyst Dan Khus stated that the cooling of inflation reduces the likelihood of the Federal Reserve raising interest rates again in October, making December a more likely time for the next policy adjustment. However, with the yield on 10-year U.S. Treasuries still close to 5.3%, the mere decline in inflation is not sufficient to support BTC to remain firmly above $85,000.
