According to CoinMeta, crypto analyst Axel Adler stated that the Bitcoin trading price is around $83,700, which is 14% higher than the cost basis for short-term holders. The cost basis for short-term holders rose from $72,800 to $73,700 within a week, resulting in an unrealized profit of 13.7%. Meanwhile, the cost basis for long-term holders decreased from $48,900 to $48,800, meaning the Bitcoin price is about 72% higher than this group's cost basis. Axel Adler noted that changes in the cost basis for long-term holders are influenced by the duration of their holdings, with the transfer of high-cost positions driving up the cost basis for short-term holders.
