According to CoinMeta, a wallet that has not been active since May 2011 transferred 20.43 units of BTC, worth approximately $1.7 million. Tracking based on Arkham indicates that these BTC came from earnings of about $3 to $4 from Braiins ( Slush Pool ). The BTC obtained by this wallet on May 1 and May 8, 2011, has been split and transferred to an isolated witness address, with transaction fees of less than $1; it has not yet been transferred to a known exchange recharge address. Earlier transfers from the same wallet are related to Mt, Gox, and Silk Road. The trustee of Mt and Gox currently holds about 34,500 units of BTC, with the deadline for creditors to declare their claims being October 31, 2026.
