According to CoinMeta, as reported by Eleanor Terrett, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has issued a proposal regarding the custody of crypto assets for investment advisors and regulated funds. The proposal allows for self-custody under certain circumstances and also permits state trust companies to act as custodians.
