SBI Digital Trust in collaboration with Nice and DSRV verifies the payment of stablecoins in Japan and Korea

According to CoinMeta, on October 1st, SBI Digital Trust signed an agreement with Nice Information, Telecommunication, and DSRV to jointly verify a commercialization plan for cross-border transfers and payments between Japan and South Korea using stablecoins. This verification will be conducted in the scenario of Japanese tourists using QR code payments at affiliated merchants in South Korea's Nice Information and Telecommunication. The focus will be on verifying the flow of funds, payment instructions, and system connectivity, with completion expected by the end of December 2026. SBI Digital Trust is responsible for designing the payment scheme, while Nice Information and Telecommunication provide merchant network and operational expertise. DSRV is in charge of blockchain technology research.
