U.S. judge dismisses class action against Kelsier Ventures and Meteora

According to CoinMeta, a federal judge in the United States dismissed a class action lawsuit against the organizer of the Libra project Kelsier Ventures, the decentralized finance platform Meteora, and developer Benjamin Chow. The judge also rejected the plaintiffs' request to submit a revised complaint. The court determined that the plaintiffs failed to prove that Meteora constituted an unincorporated association, nor could they prove that there was any extortionary behavior by Kelsier Ventures. Furthermore, the technical assistance provided by Benjamin Chow and the fees charged by Meteora were not sufficient to establish fraudulent intent. Libra is a token that was previously promoted by Argentina's President Javier Milei, and more than 44,000 investors were affected. Javier Milei denied any responsibility. (Source: bitcoin.com news)
