Darkfost: BTC Approaching the Medium-Term Holder Cost Benchmark
2026-10-02 19:52:52
According to CoinMeta, analyst Darkfost stated that BTC is approaching the cost benchmarks for two groups of medium-term holders. Holders with a holding period of 18 months to 2 years have a cost benchmark of around $88,350, while those with a holding period of 6 to 12 months have a cost benchmark of around $89,200, forming a risk zone near $89,000. Darkfost emphasized that these cost benchmarks are not support or resistance lines, but rather reference areas for observing changes in investor behavior. As BTC approaches this range, some loss-making holders may choose to exit, while others may continue to buy to lower their costs, which could affect the current market momentum.
