The US drives up Bitcoin prices, while an Iranian attack on an oil tanker causes sharp fluctuations

CoinMeta data: On October 1st, the price of Bitcoin started at $84,000, but then it dropped due to poor U.S. employment data and expectations of a Federal Reserve interest rate hike, pushing the price of Bitcoin close to $87,000. However, in the end, Bitcoin's closing price was the same as its opening price, with a daily market value fluctuation of $50 billion. According to information from the British maritime authorities, Iran attacked a large oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, which is the sixth oil tanker attack this week. Although there was almost no fluctuation in oil prices, the crypto market reacted violently. The British Navy Trade Operations Centre ( UKMTO ) issued a warning on Friday, reporting that an oil tanker was attacked while at sea, causing a small fire and resulting in a power outage on board. The crew successfully extinguished the fire, and the ship continued its voyage. UKMTO reported no casualties or pollution.
