According to CoinMeta, the number of job openings in the crypto industry in September exceeded 1,200, a significant increase from 886 in August and 382 in July, indicating a recovery from the downturn in the first half of 2026. However, the number of applicants has decreased; there were 25,700 applicants in July, 24,631 in August, and nearly 20,000 in September. Despite the surge in job openings, competition has intensified, resulting in a failure of the number of applicants to grow accordingly. Finance, engineering, and trading were the largest hiring categories over the past three months, with stablecoins, artificial intelligence, security, and compliance also making it into the top ten.
