According to CoinMeta, David Robinson (David Robinson), the former leader of OpenAI, stated that he could do more work outside of the company to enhance security. In an article published in The Atlantic, he mentioned that OpenAI was not cautious enough in terms of technical management and called for strengthened security incentives. Robinson worked at OpenAI for three and a half years, responsible for the transparency of the security team. His resignation came after OpenAI was under scrutiny due to a Hugging Face hacking incident. A spokesperson for OpenAI responded that the company is working to ensure that the capabilities of the AI model do not exceed the implemented security measures.
