According to CoinMeta, OKXICE, a joint venture established by OKX and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, plans to launch a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week tokenized stock trading platform. The platform will operate under the new innovative exemptions from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and the announcement lists 63 types of stock tokens, including those of NVIDIA, Tesla, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, JPMorgan Chase, and Goldman Sachs. Each token will be traded against one of three stablecoins (USDC, USDG, or USDT). Andrew Cuomo, former Governor of New York State, stated that this application is an important step towards a global 24/7 Wall Street, and tokenized securities are part of the future.
