According to CoinMeta, Reflection AI, which is supported by Nvidia, has released its first open-source model, Beam, today. The company stated that Beam achieved scores similar to those of Beijing's open-source model GLM-5.2 in benchmark tests, and its operating costs are lower than those of many competing models. The CEO of Reflection AI, Misha Laskin, said that Beam is three to four times more efficient in inference than the open-source models of many Western companies. The company has also reached partnerships with the U.S. Department of Energy and the Department of Defense, planning to apply its models in the public sector and enterprises.
