CoinMeta Data: According to Hypertracker data, the number of open perpetual contract positions on the Hyperliquid platform has reached 435,564, setting a new historical high, which is an increase of about 115% from 202,943 at the beginning of the year. Currently, there are approximately 320,600 active traders on the platform, also showing a significant increase from 155,000 at the start of the year. The total value of open perpetual contracts amounts to 17.29 billion US dollars, which is only about 920 million US dollars lower than the peak on September 23rd. Although the daily trading volume is still below that of August, on October 6th, the trading volume for perpetual contracts on Hyperliquid was around 4.54 billion US dollars, with most of the trading volume in the past month ranging between 2 and 6 billion US dollars.
