According to CoinMeta, the L2 network abstract has announced that it will be gradually shut down. The network will cease operations on December 15, 2026, and any funds that have not been transferred out by then will no longer be accessible. Users can transfer their assets through the official migration center migrate.abs.xyz or the native cross-chain bridge native-bridge.abs.xyz. abstract states that it is difficult to sustain a chain focused on consumer-grade cryptography as an independent entity, due to limitations imposed by the DEFI ecosystem and weak liquidity on the chain, which has led to stagnation in growth. abstract is an Ethereum Layer 2 network launched by the Pudgy Penguins team, which has attracted over 400,000 users and deployed more than 144 applications. Officials are reminding users to be wary of counterfeit migration websites.
