According to CoinMeta, KuCoin has announced that it will begin upgrading the spot leverage index calculation method on October 8, 2026. The new index will be rolled out gradually by currency, with a full migration expected to be completed by October 12. During the upgrade period, users' trades and assets will not be affected. If the exchange price deviates from the median by more than 5%, the weight of each exchange will be calculated based on trading volume, turnover, liquidity, and price stability, and the weights may be adjusted according to market conditions.
