2026-10-07 23:14:07
According to CoinMeta, Hunter Biden announced the results of an investigation into the launch of the LAPTOP token, denying that his team cashed out. He stated that the founder's tokens remained unchanged and that his personal tokens had been locked. The investigation revealed that Market Maker 1 invested only $5,200 and 30,000 tokens, which caused the price to rise from $0.05 to $317 within two minutes, before falling by 98% within an hour. During the selling period, Market Maker 1 withdrew its funds, reducing the amount of capital available to purchase the tokens from $16,157 to zero. Market Maker 1 made a profit of approximately $686,000, while Market Maker 2 made a profit of over $2.1 million. Hunter Biden demanded that the market makers repurchase and destroy the tokens and plans to destroy any unclaimed airdropped tokens next week.
