According to CoinMeta, Claude Haiku 5.5 released by Anthropic is considered the fastest and most powerful small-scale model to date, mainly targeting high-frequency, cost-sensitive scenarios such as summarization, classification, database queries, customer service, browser operations, and AI agent sub-tasks. The average operating cost of Haiku 5.5 is about 75% lower than that of Haiku 4.5, with input and output prices for requests under 100,000 yuan being 0.1 US dollar and 0.5 US dollar per million yuan, respectively. For the first time, Haiku series introduces adjustable inference strength. At the same time, Anthropic has halved the cache read price of Sonnet 5.5 to 0.1 US dollar per million token, which is said to reduce the cost of most agent tasks by about 20%. Haiku 5.5 is now available on Claude, platform, AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
