According to CoinMeta, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has completed the second and third reviews of El Salvador's $1.4 billion financing mechanism, allocating $139 million, and has granted an exemption for El Salvador's violation of Bitcoin holding restrictions. It is expected that, apart from documented donations, the Salvadoran government will not purchase more Bitcoin and will increase the transparency of public Bitcoin holdings.
