According to CoinMeta, Hyperliquid Policy Center CEO Jake Chervinsky stated that all exchanges, including CME and ICE, may adopt public blockchain infrastructure in the next decade to remain competitive. He mentioned that Hyperliquid is not an exchange itself, but rather a underlying infrastructure that can be used by different institutions, and that on-chain markets are expected to fall under U.S. regulatory oversight at some point in the near future.
