According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Bloomberg, OKX, a cryptocurrency exchange, and ICE, the owner of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), have officially submitted an application to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), planning to list 63 NYSE stocks on the blockchain. Their joint venture, OKXICE, aims to provide tokenized versions of these listed company stocks. This is one of the first major cryptocurrency exchanges to utilize the new SEC rules for tokenized stock trading. The companies will have a 30-day option to withdraw before the trading begins.
