CoinMeta data: Bitcoin prices fell to around $80,000 on Thursday, nearly one year since the crash in October 2025. Bitcoin has dropped by 4% in the past 24 hours and has fallen by more than 8% since it was near $87,000 four days ago. Ethereum and XRP also fell by about 6% each, while Solana fell by 9%. As the first anniversary of the flash crash on October 10, 2025, approaches, market sentiment is bleak. Despite the selling pressure on Bitcoin, institutional investors seem to be increasingly confident about the long-term prospects of digital assets. According to a survey by State Street of 300 asset managers, about 51% of respondents expect digital assets to become mainstream within the next five years, a significant increase from 11% in 2024.
