Google Launches Gemini AI Assistant to Boost Workplace Efficiency

According to CoinMeta, Google Cloud launched a general-purpose assistant named Gemini on Thursday, aimed at improving workplace efficiency. This product can work within applications such as Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Chat, and Calendar, and is compatible with Microsoft 365 and Slack. The Gemini assistant can continue to run in the cloud after the user closes their laptop, complete tasks, and return results. Google stated that the Gemini assistant assigns an encrypted identity to each agent, ensuring that every operation is audited. The assistant is also connected to multiple platforms including Salesforce, ServiceNow, Jira, etc., and supports collaboration across various AI models. Google has not yet announced the pricing or official launch date for the Gemini assistant.
