Ripple Co-founder Larsen Donates $22.5 Million During the U.S. Election Cycle

According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Bloomberg, Ripple co-founder and chairman Chris Larsen has donated at least $22.5 million to federal candidates and super PAC during this US electoral cycle, and plans to further increase political contributions, focusing on issues such as crypto, AI security, and clean energy. Notably, after super PAC Fairshake in the crypto industry announced plans to invest $30 million against Sherrod Brown, Larsen personally invested $4 million in the Brown camp and criticized Fairshake's decision. Ripple has provided $48 million to Fairshake during this cycle and is one of the organization's main funders.
