CoinMeta data: Today marks the first anniversary of the major crypto market liquidation on October 10th. Data shows that since Bitcoin reached a historical high of $126,200 on October 6, 2025, it has still fallen by more than 34% since then. On October 10th, the market experienced the largest liquidation event in history, with over $19 billion in leveraged positions being liquidated, involving 1.6 million traders. Although Bitcoin has rebounded from its low of $58,000 in June, it has not yet returned to pre-crisis levels. A year later, the scars of October 10th are still visible on the Bitcoin chart.
