Circle Announces a Reduction of 800 Million USDC in Circulation

CoinMeta data: As of October 8th, Circle has announced changes in the USDC circulation. Over the past 7 days, approximately 9.7 billion USDC were issued, and about 10.5 billion USDC were redeemed, resulting in a decrease of around 800 million coins in circulation. Currently, the total circulation of USDC is 73 billion coins, with a reserve amount of about 73.2 billion US dollars. This includes approximately 36.3 billion US dollars in overnight reverse treasury bond repurchases, about 26.9 billion US dollars in treasury bonds with a maturity of less than 3 months, about 9.3 billion US dollars in deposits from systemically important institutions, and about 700 million US dollars in deposits from other banks.
