CoinMeta data: The International Monetary Fund ( IMF ) indicates that although tokenized U.S. stocks provide the ability for 24/7 trading and purchasing of certain stocks, they also bring risks of liquidity and stability. IMF The latest Global Financial Stability Report points out that more than half of the trading volume of tokenized stocks occurs during off-hours in the U.S. market, and approximately 80% of these trades involve less than one share. The report also finds that nighttime fluctuations in tokenized stocks have significant informational value for their traditional counterparts, with over 85% of these nighttime fluctuations being reflected in traditional stocks within five minutes after the U.S. market opens. IMF It is estimated that the market for tokenized real-world assets has grown rapidly, reaching approximately $65 billion as of July 31, of which tokenized stocks account for about $2.3 billion.
