CoinMeta data: The estimated loss from wallet theft has risen from $72 million to $93.2 million, involving 315 wallets. Investigators discovered suspicious transfers on October 9th related to Cryptobilis customers, with an initial estimate of losses exceeding $72 million. Subsequent investigations raised the total amount to $93.2 million, covering Tron, Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc. Bitquery data shows that Tron accounts for about $70.5 million of the losses, followed by Bitcoin at $16.8 million and Ethereum at $3.7 million. Researchers calculated the outflow of funds from the affected wallets and identified abnormal transaction patterns, indicating coordinated wallet draining activities. Investigators also traced $29.9 million through Tornado Cash and Zcash, showing how the stolen assets flowed through privacy infrastructure. A Bitquery report states that Tether has frozen approximately $10 million in USDT, involving 20 wallets, highlighting the power of centralized issuers over the freezing of stablecoins.
