CoinMeta data: Geoffrey Kendrick, the global head of digital asset research at Standard Chartered Bank, stated that due to the stagnation in supply growth this year, the goal of reaching a stablecoin market size of $2 trillion has been postponed from 2028 to 2030. Over the past 12 months, the supply of stablecoins has hovered between $300 billion and $320 billion, and it is currently around $309 billion. This year, the average monthly on-chain transaction volume of stablecoins is nearly $10 trillion, higher than the $4 trillion in 2025. In May, the average monthly turnover reached approximately $19 trillion, up from about 15 times in 2025 to about 30 times. USDT has an average monthly turnover of about 7 times, and USDC's average monthly turnover has increased from about 45 times to about 80 times.
