a16z Cuts Most Members of the Recruitment Support Team; Remaining Staff to Be Reorganized
2026-10-15 09:13:59
According to CoinMeta, Silicon Valley venture capital giant a16z has laid off most of the members of its 34-person team responsible for providing recruitment support to its invested companies. This team has been providing such support to startups for a long time. Under the new arrangement, the remaining employees will be reallocated to professional investment departments such as growth and cryptocurrencies. In the future, each department will form its own recruitment support teams based on its own needs, rather than continuing to rely on a unified central team.
