According to CoinMeta, as reported by digital and asset, the Southern District Court of Seoul issued a first-instance verdict on October 15 regarding a token fraud case involving approximately $253 million involving pod and att tokens. The defendant, identified as Park, who was referred to as jonber and kim, was acquitted. The court found that the defendant engaged in misleading propaganda regarding the actual progress of the project, its business prospects, and the use of funds. However, the prosecution failed to prove that specific investors purchased the tokens due to this false information, hence the fraud charges were not established. Additionally, two co-defendants were sentenced to prison with a suspended sentence for submitting false information during the review process for the listing of coinone.
