Google may precede Bitcoin's Q-day; Willow chip reduces quantum errors by 40 times

According to CoinMeta, Google may precede Bitcoin’s “Q Day” due to its Willow chip reducing quantum errors by 40 times. Google claims that a technology called “Magic State Cultivation” is now effective on its Willow chip, reducing the error rate by about 40 times and achieving an accuracy rate of a record 99.99%. “Q Day” refers to the moment when quantum computers become powerful enough to crack the cryptography that protects Bitcoin wallets. Google itself expects to use less than one million qubits by 2025 to crack RSA encryption, and this technology will also be adopted. Related research has been published in the journal Science, but Google indicates that it still needs to prove the effectiveness of this technology on a larger scale.
