In September, the open-source models processed 71.5% of the platform's Token, but based on public prices, the call costs accounted for only 23%. Among them, the DeepSeek model accounted for 58% of the platform's Token, yet its estimated costs only accounted for 6.6%. It is noteworthy that nearly 70% of the estimated call costs for Chinese models were incurred with American service providers, while in December 2025, this figure was less than 10%. At the same time, the total cost of AI calls on the Vercel platform in September increased by about 13 times compared to December 2025, yet the average price per Token decreased by 47%.
