CoinMeta data: According to analyst morenodv from CryptoQuant, as of October 15th, the realized market value of new whale investors in Bitcoin reached $78.61 billion, while that of old whales was $159.15 billion. The proportion of new whales has risen to 33.06%, higher than around 18% at the beginning of 2026. Since September, the realized market value of new whales has been continuously growing, while that of old whales has remained relatively stable. The average holding cost for new whales is currently about $77,000. Calculated at the reported price of $82,134, this represents a floating profit of approximately 6.7%. Analysts believe that $77,000 is an important level to monitor; if it continues to fall below this figure, it may increase the selling pressure on new whales. However, the growth in realized market value does not necessarily indicate an equal inflow of new capital.
