According to CoinMeta, Deutsche Bank announced that it will launch crypto custody services in the coming weeks, marking an important step for the bank in the field of digital assets. The bank plans to initially offer services for major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), and will later expand its digital asset products. Gerald Podosnik, co-head of Deutsche Bank's corporate banking department, announced this plan at meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. The new custody services will be launched first in Germany and are expected to be extended to major financial centers in Asia by 2027. The bank also intends to target institutional and corporate clients, rather than individual investors.
