According to CoinMeta, Lin Yuanlin, the founder of the cloud deployment platform Zeabur, announced through user emails that the platform will gradually cease operations. Some services will be discontinued starting from December 1st, and all dedicated servers and shared clusters will be shut down by December 31st. This decision to shut down is related to a series of security incidents that have occurred on the platform. In August of this year, there was a security incident, and in October, the platform was attacked again. As disclosed on the official status page, the attackers obtained read access to the platform's database, which included service environment variables, account information, and API token. Some of the Google Cloud dedicated servers also suffered unauthorized access. In the email, the founder stated that the team began discussing whether to continue operating after the security incident in August. After another attack this time, the team re-evaluated the investment required to continue operations and the responsibilities they could bear, and ultimately decided to shut down the platform.
