According to CoinMeta, as reported by Coinpedia, the Federal Reserve may pause interest rate hikes at its meeting on October 27-28, with the market anticipating a 85% probability of such a move. However, the market also expects a 89% chance of a rate hike in December, which would raise the benchmark interest rate to 4.00%-4.25%. In September, the Federal Reserve raised the benchmark interest rate by 25 basis points to a target range of 3.75%-4.00%. Although market expectations for a rate hike in October have decreased, the possibility of another hike in December still exists due to rising inflation and oil prices.
