According to CoinMeta, the U.S. Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has opened its tokenization service for commercial access this month, covering assets worth trillions of dollars. The service is initially operational on Canton and Besu platforms, with the first batch including 25 liquid instruments. Institutions can convert traditional securities into tokens between 2:00 AM and 6:00 PM Eastern Time, and transfers can be made around the clock. Stellar has been listed as a partner for launch in 2027 and will be integrated through the SEP-41 standards and Circle's ARC framework.
