CoinMeta data: Strategy founder Michael Saylor proposed the concept of a “stablecoin backed by Bitcoin,” which would offer a 7% yield and maintain a stable value in US dollars. He stated that this product would represent “the next step” after Bitcoin and digital credit, and would become part of “digital currencies,” providing both yield and stability. Saylor mentioned in an interview on Binance, imagine a stablecoin that offers a 7% yield. He also pointed out that US dollar-backed stablecoins usually only provide low yields, whereas Bitcoin-backed stablecoins can take advantage of Bitcoin’s yield potential. Saylor emphasized that Bitcoin could generate over 38% annual yield in the next five years, and mentioned that Bitcoin-backed stablecoins might offer a yield of 10% to 12%.
