mesh and Visa Reach Cooperation to Support Cryptocurrency Payments
2026-10-20 00:24:27
According to CoinMeta, cryptocurrency payment infrastructure companies mesh and Visa have reached a collaboration to allow users to directly use the cryptocurrency and stablecoin balances in their participating wallet applications for payments at over 175 million Visa merchant locations worldwide. There is no need to apply for physical or virtual payment cards, nor to sell or transfer assets in advance. This solution supports both online and offline payments through backend-configured Visa payment credentials, with mesh responsible for managing transaction funds and asset exchanges. Merchants do not need to adjust their existing payment systems. Currently, neither party has announced the service launch date, supported devices, or the platforms involved in the collaboration.
