According to CoinMeta, Anthropic announced that it will use 5% of its shares to establish a new public interest fund to support its mission. In response, Elon Musk promised to give each child in the United States one share of SpaceX next year. This fund will have more flexibility and may make large donations to traditional non-profit organizations or be directly allocated to specific groups of people. Anthropic has committed to investing $200 million in related research. According to a poll, 64% of American adults believe that artificial intelligence is developing too quickly. Anthropic is preparing for its initial public offering (IPO), with an expected listing in November at a valuation of about $2 trillion. The fund will be established as a wholly-owned limited liability company, allowing for an increase in shares as the company's value rises.
