According to CoinMeta, Google has announced an update to its financial services and products policy. Starting from October 21st, advertisers promoting cryptocurrency trading platforms, wallets, margin trading contracts, and foreign exchange services in the United Arab Emirates must obtain one of the following licenses: CMA, DFSA, FSRA, or VARA, and must also complete Google certification, while complying with other local legal requirements. For advertisements that promote cryptocurrency exchanges and wallets as complex speculative financial products, the licensing requirements are limited to CMA, DFSA, or FSRA. This policy applies to all relevant advertising accounts globally. Violations will first result in a warning, and it will be at least 7 days before an account may be suspended.
