According to CoinMeta, a hacker group named Fulcrumsec issued a statement claiming to have stolen approximately 10.6TB of data from the Tidb Cloud platform, which is part of the distributed database service provider PingCAP. The stolen data includes around 4.9 million files, and the group has made public about 200GB of this information so far. They claim that the leaked data contains records of approximately 180,000 customer organizations, over 110,000 sets of customer API keys, as well as database connection logs, internal source code, and customer business information. The list of affected customers includes cryptocurrency exchanges such as Bitget, Pionex, as well as companies in the crypto industry like Chainbase and NFTScan. Currently, the authenticity of this data and the specific scope of its impact have not been independently verified, and there is no evidence to suggest that users of these exchanges have suffered any asset losses as a result.
