2026-10-21 00:42:40
According to CoinMeta, as reported by Cointelegraph, the joint venture okxice established between cryptocurrency exchange okx and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, disclosed in an update that it has received opposition notices from 16 issuers, including companies such as Alphabet, Microsoft, and Goldman Sachs. okxice, the co-chairperson of the joint venture and former governor of New York State Andrew Cuomo, stated that these notices do not constitute formal opposition; some companies simply wish to observe how the tokenized stock model operates before making a decision, and it is expected that more companies will express similar opinions. The proposed platform is intended to cover 62 companies listed on U.S. exchanges, of which about 25% have already expressed opposition. The platform plans to operate a licensed liquidity pool Uniswap V4 deployed on xlayer around the clock, with tokenized stocks to be paired with those of USDT on Tether, USDC on Circle, or USDG on Global Dollar.
