Singapore DayOne Reconsiders US IPO Plan
2026-10-21 10:25:32
According to CoinMeta, affected by the turmoil in the data center industry, Singapore's DayOne Data Centers Ltd is re-evaluating its initial public offering (IPO) plans in the United States, which may include delaying the listing date or reducing the amount of funds raised. Sources familiar with the matter revealed that the company has been waiting for the right timing to launch the IPO and is also considering the possibility of advancing it once the market recovers. Other options include a smaller-scale listing, with the amount of funds raised possibly ranging between $2.5 billion and $3 billion, which is roughly half of its initial target. Investors such as Coatue and Hillhouse Capital's DayOne are still in contact with potential investors and hope to advance the listing process as soon as market conditions permit. Previously, sources said that the company initially planned to raise up to $5 billion through the IPO as early as the fourth quarter and had sought a valuation of around $20 billion.
