The latest ledger data shows that the holding threshold for XRP is lower than what many market participants expected. To enter the top 10% of holders, one currently only needs 2,151 XRP; whereas to enter the top 1%, the threshold is 4,4896. Meanwhile, market attention is shifting towards the capital flow of ETF, regulatory progress, and on-chain activity.
Update of Thresholds for Each Gear Range
- Top 10%: 2,151 XRP
- Top 5%: 7,503 XRP
- Top 3%: 14,061 XRP
- Top 2%: 21,902 XRP
- Top 1%: 44,896 XRP
- Top 0.1%: 275,420 XRP
This set of data indicates that the number of positions required to enter a higher position percentile is lower than the common perception in the outside world. However, the large-value addresses in the ledger still include the Ripple custodial account, exchange-managed wallets, and early-allocated addresses, and there is still a significant gap between their holding sizes and those of ordinary users.
ETF has had a net inflow for 11 consecutive days
As of now, the price of XRP is close to $1.40, with a daily increase of about 2%. US spot XRP ETF has recorded net inflows for 11 consecutive trading days, with a cumulative net inflow of approximately $1.68 billion. The report also mentioned that Goldman Sachs has become one of the important institutional holders of the related product.
The market is also paying attention to the U.S. Senate's scheduled vote on CLARITY Act on September 15th. Prior to this, the National Association of Sheriffs of the United States retracted its long-standing opposition to the bill, which further boosted market sentiment.
On-chain liquidity rises to $4.26 billion
XRP Treasury Company Evernorth released its liquidity report for the second quarter of 2026 on September 2nd. The report indicates that the quarterly average recorded value of stablecoins in US dollars and tokenized assets on XRP Ledger has risen to $4.26 billion, compared to $99 million in the first quarter of 2025.
Evernorth growth is attributed to larger-scale transactions within the network, as well as an increase in account balance depth. This means that, in addition to price fluctuations, the capital carrying capacity and usage intensity of XRP Ledger are also increasing simultaneously.
From the current data, the XRP holding ranking can only reflect the distribution of addresses and is difficult to indicate changes in asset value on its own. The more direct driving factors are still whether there is a continuous inflow of funds into ETF, the progress of regulatory legislation, and whether the adoption of these measures on the chain can continue.
