Apple will focus on updating its phones, watches, headphones, and health apps at its autumn iPhone launch event. The highlights of this release include the first foldable screen iPhone Duo, the upgraded imaging system of the iPhone 18 Pro series, as well as the Apple Watch model that has added more audio and memory assistance features.
Foldable screen iPhone makes its debut for the first time
Apple releases its first foldable phone iPhone Duo. When unfolded, the phone features a 7.6-inch Retina screen, while the outer screen is 5.4 inches in size, and it adopts an under-screen camera design. Apple states that the usage experience of this product is inspired by the multi-scenario experiences of iPad.
In terms of imaging, iPhone and Duo are equipped with a 48-megapixel primary camera and a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, supporting 2x optical zoom. Users can also use the rear cameras for selfies and view the preview through the secondary screen.

iPhone 18 Pro Focusing on image upgrade
iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max continue the appearance of their predecessors, but the camera system is the focus of this update. The new models are equipped with a 48-megapixel sensor and a variable aperture system composed of six thin blades, which is designed to improve low-light shooting performance and increase shooting speed.
Apple has also added more professional control options to the camera software, including white balance, shutter speed, aperture, and histogram. The new "Photography Style" feature also provides finer adjustments for texture and grain. In terms of video, the new device supports recording 4K Dolby HDR Vision videos, and it is possible to add cinematic effects after shooting.

Apple Watch Added audio intelligence features
Apple Watch Series The 12 and Apple Watch Ultra models do not have any significant hardware revisions, but there are substantial software updates. Apple has added Audio Intelligence related features to the watches in an attempt to enhance the capabilities of wearable devices for daily recording and assistance with reminders.
Among them, Live Rewind can convert the conversation content of the previous 15 seconds into text snippets to help users review the information they just heard; Siri Recap is used to organize the key points in daily conversations, such as meeting conclusions or key points of home-school communication.
Apple has also introduced a "voice recognition" feature that can identify alarms, doorbells, alarms, and baby cries, and send alerts to users with hearing impairments. Health app integration with Apple Intelligence
Apple has also updated the Apple Health app, planning to use Apple Intelligence to better organize user health data. The new version of the app includes a Insights tab page for summarizing more up-to-date health information, and provides personalized recommendations, assessment results, Readiness scores, and Health Age indicators.
In addition, the app has also added a new tab labeled Longevity, which, in conjunction with data from Apple Watch and iPhone, evaluates overall health from dimensions such as sleep, activity, and heart health. This version will be launched first to English-speaking users in the United States later this year.
AirPods 5 also made its debut at this press conference. Apple claims that the new headphones have a 50% improvement in background noise reduction compared to the previous generation, and for the first time, volume control on the headphone strap has been added to models other than Pro. The product is priced at $129 and will be available on September 18th.
