Pinterest is further integrating AI with consumer products. On the 17th, the company announced that it had launched a beta version of Restyle in the United States and Canada, allowing users to preview the effects of room renovations.

Supports uploading room photos.

Users first take photos of their space, and then allow AI to add or replace elements such as wall decorations, furniture, lighting, and plants. The system also supports adjusting the lighting, paint color, and overall style.

It can directly replace individual objects.

Pinterest also allows users to select specific items in the room to remove, replace, or continue editing them. Users can also ask AI to change the style of the room to different options such as bohemian, industrial, or whimsical.

Underlying access to Nvidia computing power

This feature is supported by Pinterest Intelligence. The company states that this set of fundamental capabilities combines Nvidia Blackwell GPU, Nvidia Dynamo, open-source models, and Pinterest's proprietary technologies, and will also enhance the visual search capabilities of Pinterest Assistant.
