The newly launched high-yield savings tool has first made its debut on Uber Pro Card, helping drivers and delivery personnel achieve an annualized yield of up to 3.25% on their savings.

Tampa, Florida, USA, October 1, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Embedded financial services provider Branch today announced the launch of High Yield Savings, a new savings tool that is directly embedded into Branch App as well as other custom brand applications supported by Branch, such as Uber Pro Card. This feature will be initially available on Uber, allowing users to earn up to a 3.25% annualized return on their savings without having to leave the applications they already use for receiving payments.

Hourly wage earners, those who rely on tips for income, and 1099 independent contractors not only often face instability in their earnings and cash flow but also tend to lack ways to save money and let it grow. Some high-yield savings products require monthly direct deposits or reaching a certain threshold of credit card spending, which is not suitable for workers with larger income fluctuations. Branch has adopted a different approach: as long as the average daily balance of the account reaches $500 or more, users can earn the highest interest rate.

High Yield Savings does not charge any fees, and there is no minimum balance requirement for opening an account, so interest can start accruing immediately on every dollar. Users can withdraw their funds at any time, usually without incurring transfer fees; they can also set up automatic deposits on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis, and can view the interest that is accrued and paid monthly. Since this feature is part of Branch App, savings occur in the same place where workers receive their payments.

Branch, the founder and CEO, stated: "Our guiding principle has always been to help American workers achieve financial growth, and developing impactful ways to truly assist workers in saving and increasing their income has always been a crucial part of that. High Yield Savings offers attractive and competitive interest rates that workers with fluctuating incomes can actually utilize. This is yet another way for us to help workers turn Branch into a place where their financial lives can thrive."

Uber Director of Financial Services Karan Chawla stated: "Drivers and delivery personnel are the core of Uber. We have been looking for ways to help them earn money through the platform as well as to support them outside of it. Uber Pro Card is an important part of this commitment; it provides financial tools designed around their working methods and needs. By joining High Yield Savings, eligible drivers and delivery personnel now have another way to save income and work towards their financial goals."

High Yield Savings will first be available to cardholders of Uber Pro Card, providing drivers and delivery personnel with a simple way to increase their income, and then it will be extended to Branch App and other applications supported by Branch.

This release continues the broader efforts of Branch to make financial infrastructure and services more adaptable to the income patterns of today's American workers. With the help of High Yield Savings, workers no longer have to choose between quickly accessing funds and letting their funds grow at competitive interest rates.

Zhang expects Bitcoin's trading range in October to be between $78,000 and $95,000, and states that if it falls below $80,000, the seasonal bullish structure will become invalid.
