Toronto, October 1st / PRNewswire / -- Thomson Reuters Corporation ( Thomson Reuters Corporation , TSX / Nasdaq : TRI ) announced today that it has completed the transaction previously disclosed to sell the majority of its global printing business to the capital account of an advisor advised by KKR. KKR is a leading global investment firm.

The business is currently operating independently under the name of Westbridge Print, providing services to legal and tax professionals in 13 countries, as well as commercial printing services for book publishers in multiple markets.

Thomson Reuters stated that for the company, this transaction will enable it to focus more on providing innovative fiduciary-level AI solutions for the legal, tax, auditing, and compliance industries.
