Los Angeles and Utrecht, the Netherlands, October 1, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- RCLCO Fund Advisors ("RFA") and a.s.r. real assets investment partners ("a.s.r. ip") today announced the establishment of a strategic global alliance aimed at providing cross-border institutional real estate investors with the capability to make cross-border investments. The alliance brings together the professional capabilities of two research-driven companies, which complement each other in terms of geographical advantages and expertise, forming a coordinated cooperation that focuses on market information, data analysis, investment strategies, and execution in North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region.

Both companies emphasize that they place the long-term interests of institutional investors first, building on a deep understanding of local markets, rigorous investment analysis, and long-standing relationships with institutions. The structure of this alliance is designed to provide institutional investors with broad market access and diversified investment solutions through coordinated approaches—ranging from direct investments and independent account management to joint investments, sidecar, as well as listed and unlisted strategies—while also offering shared market information and stronger execution support.

Today, real estate investment requires not only channels to enter the market; it also demands strict management throughout the entire investment cycle. This alliance further enhances our capabilities by combining the local practical experience of RFA in the Americas, as well as our long-standing experience in global real estate investment and our fiduciary responsibility approach in investing on behalf of institutional asset owners, including a.s.r balance sheets and external clients. Together, we will improve our ability to identify opportunities, navigate local markets, and support long-term investment outcomes, said a.s.r, real, assets, investment, partners, Managing Director of Luc Joosten.

"Institutional investors are increasingly seeking cross-border asset allocation, so they need partners that can provide genuine local expertise and credibility in each region, rather than just a global brand name." said Taylor Mammen, CEO of RCLCO Fund Advisors. "This alliance allows our clients to access trusted contacts and deep local market capabilities across both sides of the Atlantic and beyond. We have always believed that real estate is inherently localized, and this collaboration is built on that principle."

Through this alliance, institutional asset owners will gain stronger access to local market information, as well as complementary investment capabilities in areas such as real estate market entry strategies, portfolio construction, investment underwriting and due diligence, search, screening, and supervision of managers and operators, portfolio monitoring, and customized investment tools. The alliance is aimed at serving a wide range of institutional asset owners, including global pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign institutions, donor funds, family offices, and foundations.
